Free Tasting
A group booth in New York Artbook Fair, October 2022
As part of the 2022 New York Art Book Fair, Werkplaats Typografie published a project, “Kardesler Groente". The project involved compressing, transferring, and decompressing Kardesler Groente & Fruit, a fruit and vegetable store located in West Amsterdam, into a book booth format. As a participant to this project, I made 8 instructions for the visitors interact with fruits, one for each working hour of the day, until the fair closed.
11:00, Eat a piece of mozzarellas with a piece of banana.
12:00, Kiss the nipple of a lemon.
13:00, Cut a very small slice of a pear and eat it.
14:00, Use a carrot to unlock your phone.
15:00, Smell the skin of a mandarin while eating a piece of apple.
16:00, Pet a watermelon until it gets warm.
17:00, Pull a pineapple leaf and tasting it.
18:00, Light an onion.
