The Passenger
Arnhem, NL, 2022.
In this project I filmed three different houses while living in Arnhem. The videos revolve around everyday domestic events: cleaning, washing, eating fruit, observing the smallest events in the corners of the houses, exploring the boring moments. I moved to Arnhem in the year 2022, and the housing problem there was so difficult that I had to keep moving from one short-term sublet house to another in order to live. The covid quarantine made me spend a lot of time indoors, interacting with the everyday objects of the house owners. I am the passenger of each house.
