Het HEM, Zaandam, NL, 2021

我们在 Het HEM 度过了一整年的时间,我记得每天去工作室的小路上,都会经过一个被放置在路中间的一个大木头桩子,它意图是要挡住来往的车辆,但是很温柔的给骑车和行人留下旁边的空隙,这个温柔的停止符号,每天都像小刺点一样提醒我,在这个地方,还有很多这样的小刺点,于是我慢慢开始留意门缝,洗手池,灶台边,地上,影子等等。

We spent the whole year in Het HEM. I remember that every day, on my way to the studio, I would pass by a very large piece of wood placed in the middle of the path. It was meant to block cars but gently left space on the sides for cyclists and pedestrians. This subtle gesture felt like a punctuation, reminding me daily that this place might hide many such punctum moments. I began to put my eyes on the doorways, the sink, the ground, the shadows, ...
