疫情结束后，独立出版艺术书在中国成为非法行为。许多书籍艺术家，出版商，印刷厂，艺术书展被勒令警告或处于刑罚。我们战战兢兢“非法”地完成了在上海为期一个月的围绕出版的展览和活动。
In August 2024, we held an exhibition and a series of art events at E.SCAPE Art Space in Shanghai to explore more possibilities in publishing. We were lucky and 'illegally' completed this project, as independent art book publishing has become illegal and been banned in China since the pandemic. Many book artists, publishers, printers, art book exhibitions, and fairs have been ordered to stop, and some of them needed to be erased from the contributor name list in our Reading Room. We are not a radical group but are trying to build a 'Tenderness Resistance' by hosting various forms of artistic experimentation around publishing, including a group exhibition, workshops, food programs, sound performances, and movie nights.
