The act of bending down in the fields was part of my childhood memories. Over the years, this movement has no longer been related to toil, but feels more like a humble gesture—looking down at the ground and reconnecting with the earth. It also fosters a sense of humble openness to the unknown—not knowing what might happen, but trusting that by going, I might encounter and glean something unexpected.
