Paper Cornets

Plein Theater, Amsterdam, NL, 2026

This project was part of the ‘Small Miracle #1 Nightkeeping’, a program curated by Lorenzo Llamas at Plein Theater on february 21st. It began with a text featuring 22 footnotes about our research into the (his)tories of spice and its relationship to Amsterdam-oost, and the footnotes took you to the folders on the wall which included quotes from persons, pictures, images, stories and references. You could take the folders with you and read them in any spots in the cafe. One footnote was later the day translated into situated dining in the theater where the stage was transformed into a soft white floor, with the recipe explored with spices by Sankrit.
